If the biggest sportswear sponsorship whores have said it is too expensive. No other company will come in with a higher sponsorship deal.Originally posted by G View PostBit like us with Adidas, they thought we were too expensive. Warrior didn't. Someone will give them a record breaking amount, no doubt about it.

No but they don't need to. United wanted £60m a season. Nike said no. If someone comes in with anything over £25m a season they will have a record breaking shirt deal on their hands all the same. Current deal is £23m so anything north of that is a good deal for them.Originally posted by Assassin View PostIf the biggest sportswear sponsorship whores have said it is too expensive. No CL footy for the foreseeable future.....not a chance of a record dealOriginally posted by G View PostNo but they don't need to. United wanted £60m a season. Nike said no. If someone comes in with anything over £25m a season they will have a record breaking shirt deal on their hands all the same.

If they get more than £25m we got they will have a record deal. We got that £25m when we weren't in the CL. They will absolutely get a record deal. It hopefully won't be in the numbers they want though.
Then there's this which makes zero sense to me.

Why Adidas would pay £75m a season when nobody else wants to pay even £60m is beyond me.
