I've taken this deal very badly cunts.

I love Adidas gear but the ****ers have effectively removed United's debt and given them £400m on top.

Absolutely must be performance related. No way they are paying double what any other team in the world gets for a team not in Europe.

Even if it is, are they likely to stay also rans for long? I hope so but you wouldn't bet on it. It's most likely got CL qualification clauses in it but I wouldn't imagine very much of it, if any at all, is linked to them winning trophies. That's much harder to achieve than finishing 4th each year.

We'll see after this season, I suppose. We know ourselves the longer you are out the harder it is to get back in.

Yup, unlikely though it might be, if they have another season with no CL Adidas might start to sweat a bit.

Louis van Gaal has decided the midfielder is not for Old Trafford club

Manchester United will NOT pursue interest in Arturo Vidal.

Juventus are ready to sell the Chile international and had hoped to agree a deal worth £32million with the Old Trafford club.

The 27-year-old is well regarded and came back from injury to impress in the World Cup, however, United have decided he is not for them.

Vidal's agent Fernando Felicevich was in London concluding business with Arsenal for his other client Alexis Sanchez and was understood to be due to hold talks with United over a proposed transfer.

Vidal is currently on holiday after competing at the World Cup in Brazil for his country, and when quizzed by Chilean newspaper La Tercera over whether he would be joining United, he said: 'I've heard about the rumours, but I haven't spoken more about this subject.

'I'm enjoying my holidays, and when I return to Italy I'll see what happens. Anyone would like to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.'

Italian newspaper reports on Monday even claimed a deal had been agreed between the two clubs but that will not be the case as United consider other options.

It's funny how all these transfers Manchester United have missed out on, is because of LVG saying that he doesn't want them.

Warrior would struggle to get close to Adidas in 30 years never mind 3. This deal no matter how big it is, is a mere drop in the ocean for a company the size of Adidas.

From what I'm hearing the reason its so high is Adidas retain all profits from sales, whereas usually some comes back to the club.

Dunno how right that is but it would make sense. Utd getting more than Barca and RM combined doesn't.

I mentioned this earlier. It's how our deal with Adidas was too so very possible.

Chilean TV also reporting that Vidal is joining them.

United are hoping the arrival of Louis van Gaal in Manchester will spark progress in their drive to take Arturo Vidal to Old Trafford.

The Reds are yet to make any official contact with Juventus about signing the powerhouse Chilean midfielder.

Since the whirlwind activity of 19 days ago - when Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera were signed from Southampton and Athletic Bilbao respectively for almost £60m in the space of 24 hours - United’s transfer business has stalled.

But with new boss van Gaal due in Manchester Wednesday to take up his post it is set to accelerate again.

The Dutch manager will take a look at his new squad this week before flying out on the club’s tour of the USA.

And United fans remain hopeful that van Gaal has identified the 27-year-old Vidal as his top midfield target after his impressive shows for Chile at the World Cup.

News about the potential £35m transfer is not being driven by United though there has been contact between the about the deal that will take Patrice Evra to Italy.

However, van Gaal is a fan of the Chilean, saying before the World Cup that he was a player he ‘always wanted to buy’ while the player has dropped heavy hints about his desire to join the Reds.

This is exactly why I enjoyed every minute of last season for both us and them. Potentially they'll be contending big time next season if the likes of Vidal turn up. Brenno did an amazing job last season, he's going to need to do an even better job this season as the competition looks unreal this season.
