Some right dickheads on the Radio 5 Live phone-in. Surely we were never that delusional? Wouldn't be surprised if most of them start supporting City, Chelsea or even us! :-D Bunch of classless ******s.

Having a manc standing on the kop has the same effect as a vampire in the sun.
I'm finding all this mockery a little distasteful. Very good result for them today. If they can continue to get a few draws on the road and eke out the odd win at home, they'll hit the 40 points mark with weeks to spare before the end of the season.
They do have the makings of a decent first eleven. Going forward Rooney, Mata, VanPersie, Januzaj and DiMaria would get into the squads of most PL sides. Carrick, Fellaini and Fletcher wouldn't, but they're still not truly ****. In defence.....a bit ropey but there are worse back fours in the league than Fabio/Jones/Smalling/Shaw. Not much strength in depth but without any European footy this season they can get away with having a thinner squad. If they sign a decent CB and maybe a decent CM they could still get back into the top four this season.
It's nice seeing them struggle but life has a habit of coming back and biting you on the arse. Come May they could still be leaving us or Arsenal out of the CL for next season.
The fans can blame the Glaziers, but the club has spent ****loads of money on players each year. They've been able to regularly shell out £20-30m on players to improve a specific area in their team, something we haven't been able to until this recent window. Ferguson is the reason for their current situation, he won the league with a **** team in his final season and did nothing to prolong their success beyond his own tenure. If the fans are going to get angry then their ire should be directed at the man who left them in this situation.
