Yep, it's all window dressing.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostThe fans can blame the Glaziers, but the club has spent ****loads of money on players each year. They've been able to regularly shell out £20-30m on players to improve a specific area in their team, something we haven't been able to until this recent window. Ferguson is the reason for their current situation, he won the league with a **** team in his final season and did nothing to prolong their success beyond his own tenure. If the fans are going to get angry then their ire should be directed at the man who left them in this situation.
It really doesn't. Torres and Carroll on that fine January day knocks the spots off anything before, since or ever.Originally posted by tsb View PostAnother transfer that knocks Andy Carroll further down the record transfer list. Well happy.Oh I don't know.

I think he is a class player but with that shower of ****e around him and the challenge of adapting to the pace/physical side of the league, this could genuinely turn into a disaster for them. £65m? A massive gamble IMO

The imbalance in the team is unreal - they have genuine quality up front, but their midfield and defence is very poor. I thought that Van Gaal would sort out their problem areas and I thought his arrival would lift the team and get them fighting again making them genuine contenders for the top four. They look shockingly bad and the team is the weakest United team I've seen for a long time. If they finish in the top half of the table I'll be surprised.

I think that the quality of what they have upfront will be enough to get them 7th. I can't believe that Van Gaal won't sort out their defence though. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Anyway back on track and it is good to see the mancs struggling to over come Sunderland and failing miserably too.. Although Sunderland should have had that game won.. Di Maria at the bargain price of 73.9 mil - christ on a bike has the world gone mad... Probably one of RM's best players last season, but that price is way over the top... LOL
