They're now letting young Wilson go on loan. That leaves them with only Rooney and Marcial as strikers. Bizarre really.

Memphis struggling in the PL. Rooney just generally struggling. Martial never played in the PL before. Scheiderlin struggling to find his Southampton form. Possibly Romero in goal (or a demotivated De Gea) and Gomis making Blind his b*tch.
Only Mata will have any real class and penetration, we really need to mark him out completely - as opposed to leaving him free on the right to get open goals from overhit crosses.
I can't believe we're going to lose to this shower of smelly ****.
One tit for another.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez admits David de Gea could yet sign a new contract at Manchester United.
The Spanish goalkeeper looked set to complete a move to the Bernabeu this summer, only for a £29m deal to collapse on transfer deadline day.
De Gea is in the final year of his contract at United and can leave Old Trafford on a free transfer next summer.
Perez insists he will not resurrect a move for the 24-year-old during the January transfer window - and accepts the keeper may be tempted to commit his future to United.
“He is there and we have three very good goalkeepers,” Perez told Cadena Cope.
“We have not told him not to sign (a new deal).
“He has to do what is best for his career.
“It’s very difficult that he does nothing for a year.
“When people say: ‘wait for a year and then he comes free’ that has never happened with any big player.”
United are still keen to tie De Gea to a new deal.
It is understood that a contract offer remains on the table.
Louis van Gaal is ready to reinstate De Gea as his No1 after refusing to pick him while his future remained uncertain.
United’s Dutch manager claimed the keeper had been distracted by interest from Real. That opened the way for Sergio Romero but his blunders at Swansea will not have done his chances of keeping the shirt any good.
As for Martial his backers believe he has the temperament to cope with being thrown in at the deep end. But is there really a great necessity to do that? Ander Herrera would be the likely one to miss out f he is chosen but the Basque country player warrants a few more goes before you could argue a change is needed.
Apparently Mendes is in the country negotiating a 5 year 200k a week deal which is backdated for a year which includes a 50m Euro buy out.

David De Gea is willing to slam the door shut on a move to Real Madrid by signing a new £200,000-a-week contract with Manchester United.
De Gea is prepared to commit his future to United and does not blame them for last week's botched £29million move to Real.
United have seized on his U-turn and on Thursday afternoon his agent Jorge Mendes met Louis van Gaal and club officials at Carrington for talks.
Talks are said to be progressing well and persuading De Gea to stay would be a timely boost for United after the deterioration in relations between van Gaal and his players.
Van Gaal has ended De Gea's first-team exile and the Spain No 1 could make his first appearance for United of the season against Liverpool on Saturday.
United's warming in relations with De Gea and Mendes has been mirrored by a cold war between the Portuguese super agent and Real.
Real president Florentino Perez expects De Gea to sign a new deal at Old Trafford and claimed the Spanish giants no longer want him.
"De Gea has to do what is best for his career," he said. "We are not contemplating that he comes next year."
Perez also played down Mendes' importance, saying: "At Real Madrid, Jorge Mendes only has three players Pepe, Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez and nothing beyond that."

does seem strange. Maybe he is willing to 'slam the door shut' on a transfer.
Or its the latest example, all of it a bit nebulous admittedly, of a club that seems to have lost its touch.
They have a dominant position and **** loads of money but transfer policy seems to be a bit ****, balance of the squad seems a bit ****, manager seems to be a bit **** and their press PR seems a bit ****.
Hopefully they carry on being a bit ****.

Why sign a new contract? Are they giving him a huge pay rise, he will probably still be going to Madrid next summer, so Man Utd are just trying to ensure they get a fee for him. He should just tell them to **** off and he can negotiate his own transfer to Madrid for next summer on a free from January. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
