Roy Keane:Keane told ITV: “I thought it was a brilliant challenge. I love the physical side of the game. You can always tell by player reactions and none of the United lads at the time, and players are best judges because they are nearest the tackle, didn’t react over the top thinking it was a bad challenge."

“It was more of an accident with his trailing foot.”

Bang on Daniel. Surprised it lasted as long as it did, and still does in its new home here ! Anyone who cringed themselves at Sky's reaction (and who didn't ?) ever since would twig it straight away.
FWIW, I don't think there really are Scum WUMs on here......certainly long term ones anyway.
Why would someone put the effort into 1000s of posts in most cases on a site they cannot stand ? Trolling only works to a certain point.

Nobody feckin' likes them, but lets face it, as G said up above, we do share something in common with the vast majority of their fans - a somewhat obsessive compulsion with whatever is going on at the respective clubs. That's never gonna change, its part of the reason this thread is as big as it is for views and replies, but there are some instances that need to be taken in the proper context.......Luke Shaw the other night for example. Some respond with pity, some with '**** 'im' and some with a complete lack of interest, but yet still interested enough to comment in the thread.
Sometimes you just need to ride the comments in here with an understanding that we're all Liverpool fans.

absolutely. Personally I was a bit shocked at the Shaw incident. I don't care who it is... that is a horrible thing to happen to anyone... it's only football ffs! I don't care if he's rich, plays for whomever, it was lousy.

But each to their own I suppose I just felt sorry for the poor *******. As regards the thread, yeah we are equally obsessed with United as they are with us whether some like to admit it or not. A weird relationship has developed over the years through rivalry and competitiveness. Nothing wrong with it, it is what it is a morbid curiosity with each other. If people were truly that disgusted at a United thread was on a LFC forum, they simply wouldn't go near it.

I don't like seeing horrific injuries to anyone, let alone a kid just starting out on making his way in his profession.

...then I saw him tweeting right afterwards and thought, eff him.

Supposedly, then again some are in a remarkable rush to praise everything they do whether it's keeping De Gea, the transfer business, how apparently hilarious that cunt Gaal is and whatever else they have going on. The same people who can barely muster a complitment for anything to do with LFC the team they apparently "support". It's ****ing weird. Why does any Liverpool supporter want to praise them? To be a great unbiased fan? Yeah **** that.

Ah sure he hardly going to tweet a pic of himself balling. Good PR for United fans... I'm ok kinda thing. I don't see anything wrong with a bit of deflection, he'll be devastated behind closed doors. Social Media is all for show.

Nobody rushes to praise United, sometimes people just admit the truth.. just because it is the truth, said by a LFC fan and it's about United... doesn't mean their a closet manc. Keeping De Gea "was" a great bit of business for United, they keep a world class keeper & sell him next year for a massive price. Everyone thought he was a goner, what's wrong with admitting the truth? Just sound bitter not to admit it. And Van Gaal is hilarious, whether he means it or not .... he wouldn't be out of place on Spitting Image.

I forgot I had to hate him and call him a cunt because he has a position as the Manchester United manager. I'm not going to friend him on Facebook ffs. Never subscribed to that tribal bull****, it's ****ing embarrassing, it's just football at the end of the day.

The Liverpool "supporter" who happily abuses Liverpool players saying it's "tribal bull****" to abuse Man Utd players/staff. You couldn't make it up. Brilliant.

Who is the biggest and best most virtuous LFC fan on this forum though? I've always wondered - and now I know I just need to visit this thread to find out.
