As much as this will boil most peoples piss in here .. I have always respected Gary Neville, I respect his commitment to our rivalry, his ability as a football player and he seems like a pretty good egg scum playing captain to one side ... anybody who helps the homeless in anyway is ok in my books respect

His commitment to the rivalry used to come over as snidey and cuntish when he was a player, but he has matured since and it's easy to agree with ya

I can respect Neville as a pundit and with the stuff he does off the pitch, but I reserve the right hate him as a player and for all the stuff he did on the pitch
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

he clearly had a look on here and learned how to be committed to rivalry in a mature and enlightened fashion.

Roy Keane calling someone a disgrace for the way they conduct themselves on the pitch? Is diving worse than trying to break legs these days?

To be fair to Roy Keane..........he didn't even wait to be an ex-player before putting in the boot to ManU in the past.

To be honest I am not sure how much you can draw from that. There are only really 2 stats there: 1) that they have the 2nd highest % possession and 2) that they have the highest % of backwards passes. The other two are kind of linked to the number of backwards passes (if you have a high percentage of backwards passes it follows that your sideways and forward pass % will be lower to account for this).

Without knowing number of passes in a particular direction you can't tell if they are particularly negative or not. It could be that they make as many forwards passes as most other teams, but they are passing backwards when other teams are losing possession (increasing % possession and backwards pass % compared to other sides) - it this a bad thing? It's easier to play with the ball than without it, Obviously though there is no point in having all the possession if you don't score goals though. They are quite high up the table so what they are doing whether considered good or bad must be working to some extent.
