Yup, it's hard to know what Van Gaal's blueprint for the team is meant to be.

          Indeed.

Strange as for the huge outlay they've made there still seems to be a massive void they need to fill both at the back and up front

Granted it should have happened months earlier, but so be it. What's done is done.

All that remains is for top 4 to become too much of a task for them (probably unlikely given the way the season is going) and for Giggsey to move in and finish what he started.

Just saw the goals they let in.

The second one... That's among the worst defending you will ever see. A shot from a corner that doesn't get higher than an inch of the Ground...how is that possible???

It would appear the purple nose one's effect has finally worn off. This coupled with half the squad being championship level, means teams do not fear them any more.

The current 4th place they have will be their pinnacle of there season. I fully expect them to death spiral into 8th place or worse by the end of the season

                      Game over........

They still are 3 points off the top and six ahead of us.
                        Are we winning?

Right now they are but they have plenty of meetings with their rivals coming up

Footballs a bit boring when it's treated logically though. It's fun to see them **** up all the time

For a rebuilding job, I'm not sure who they could get. Klopp would've been ideal.

I think someone like Pochettino would be excellent for them, but I think the fans will demand a massive name, and they should push for Guardiola. Ancelotti doesn't seem like he fancies a really long-term project, so I could see him going to Bayern, or even to Man City to polish them off.
