Yup, sure they can gazump us in transfer fees and wages. They are desperately trying to hold onto the " United are a still a top club" brand, that they will spend whatever it takes to keep up appearances.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostWatch united go spend big while we go shopping at Southampton which is the sale shelf at Aldi.

Technically he's only been sacked at Chelski and Real. But everyone gets sacked at those clubs. Hopefully, Pep and Conte will be bring the big chequebooks out and usurp any players Mourinho is after.Originally posted by G View PostThey spent obscenely under Van Gaal and we're still ****. It helps but it guarantees **** all. At least now they have Jose, the manager so good he gets sacked almost every where he goes
They need loads themselves so it won't just be one or two they snatch from under his nose.
One tit for another.

Reckon we need to get our business done early, like we seem to be doing, because there are only so many good players out there, Chelsea, United, City and Spurs are all yet to make their moves, teams like West Ham might be difficult for us as well.Originally posted by BigChief View PostTechnically he's only been sacked at Chelski and Real. ****ehawkery from Mourinho in his interview with MUTV. Let's go through it here, with the key bits highlighted in bold.
It's all about Mourinho, with occasional references to other things i.e. fans, players.I feel great. I am honoured, I am proud, I am everything. But I am here to work and I cannot wait until July 7 to go out on the pitch.
I think it comes in the right moment in my career because Manchester United is one of these clubs that I call a giant club. You need to be prepared for it and they need the best managers. I think I am ready.
"We can look at our club in two perspectives. One is the past three years, and another is the club history. I prefer to forget the past three years and focus on the history, and the giant club that I have in my hands now.
I will give absolutely everything to go in the direction we want. I think the fans are expecting me to say that I want to win, and the players need to listen that I want to win.
"I think the players and supporters want to feel that I say that, but we can, really - it's not just to say.
I think I know what the fans can give me. They know what I can give them. The most important thing is the players, and the relationship with the players and them."
"It is important and curious that I play so many times against them at Old Trafford, with other clubs, and there was empathy, no problems, and I was pushed sometimes to say things that my clubs were not happy with.
"I remember when we won at Old Trafford with Real Madrid [2012-13 Champions League last 16] and I said that the best team lost, and Real Madrid was not very happy."
I'm also glad to see that Mourinho continues his cuntery with his idea of forgetting the last 3 years, something we didn't hear Dalglish do with Hodgson, Rodgers with Dalglish, or Klopp with Rodgers.

That's a shrewd move to be honest. Nobody was going to do a good job straight after DBF. However now after Moysey and Mad LVG he has a chance to create his own legacy.
He's still a cunt, obvs. But a clever cunt who knew not to take on a poisoned chalice.
Here's hoping he falls flat on his face.
You wonder how much of this has been orchestrated over the last couple of years. He certainly made some bizarre moves towards the end at Chelsea.Modifying post.

That's what I mean. Nobody was ever going to go in after Ferguson and do a job like he did. So he's let other manager take the bullet for him and now he's there.
He always wanted that United job after Fergie, he was just clever enough not to go in straight away. And that's why I think he's a ****house - he claims to be the best manager around, but didn't put himself forward when he had the chance.
