Hopefully him and Bailly have an absolute nightmare.
It reads to me that both of you are suggesting he is some kind of Baresi reborn -
Big Chief - Smalling and Bailly have no apparent weaknesses except ball possession
Danperkins - both very difficult to get by, quick and good in the air but not that good on the ball
Listen I am not saying hes complete **** but he aint that great eitherBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

I don't think he'll end up there. He'll have his choice of clubs to go to should he wish to move, so can't see him favouring a move to sunny Manchester. Most likely end up at Madrid or Barca.Originally posted by Roboklopp View PostPaul Pogba to Manchester United: Jose Mourinho in pole position to sign Juventus midfielder | Transfers | Sport | The Independent - www.independent.co.uk

That's bailly a pup for a CB.Originally posted by Lecter View PostHes 26

United's defense was hardly the problem for them last year, so not arsed if they sign the best two CB's in the world. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He is pretty great to be fair. No one's comparing or even hinting at him being as good as Baresi. Being great doesn't have to mean being at some ridiculously elite level.Originally posted by Lecter View PostIt reads to me that both of you are suggesting he is some kind of Baresi reborn -

The only hope we have is around the injury records of both players, and the fact the two together could panic the sh*t out of each other at the back. Certainly during the partnership formative days. Most successful partnerships always consist of one decent ball playing defender. One tit for another.

He is quick and good in the air that's a given I think. Because he is quick and a big lad he also is quite hard to beat one on one. I don't think i'm saying anything out of the ordinary to be honest.Originally posted by Lecter View PostIt reads to me that both of you are suggesting he is some kind of Baresi reborn -

And he has had his best season with United IMO. I'm not saying he is amazing but he's not as bad as some suggest. Has time on his side and be interesting to see if he can build on last season. 26 IMO is young for a CB, most CB can go at least another 10 years. Good life span in being a CB.

I ****ing hope so. The players are so far removed from the real world in terms of what everyone else earns even MD's of large companies.Originally posted by Alex View PostIt's all going to come crashing down for everyone at some point and it's going to be glorious.
I hope the Elephant mans ideal state comes into fruition and they have to share their wealth with everyone else.Go **** yourself
