Ibra could, but won't, more than likely.

Despite what some say, Rojo can as well even though the ref felt a yellow was the correct decision at the time (i.e. he saw it). There is an allowance for challenging the ref's interpretation, but that's tantamount to the authorities saying the ref ****ed up, so that's not going to happen.

Wow that two footed tackle! Strangely I can understand it in the heat of a game and the split second decision you're making to go in full impact (Gerrard has done similar for example). Just glad Idriss Gueye is ok to be honest.

Oh and yes Rojo should be retrospectively punished for it. As should Ibra, looked deliberate then as it does now in replays.

I've never really understood the two footed tackle (ie the need to do it)

I was a tough tackling player when I was younger, I was probably a dirty player at times (leaving my foot in, going over the ball etc..) but I cant ever remember attempting a two footed tackle (ala Rojo) were both feet were off the ground

At best going in with both feet will give you added momentum to lunge towards the ball. At worst it's clear intent to cause some damage.

That one was about as blatant a red as you'll ever see.
