They had something similar with the shift in games with the league cup. Sure they paid their second leg on the Thursday rather than the usual Tuesday/WednesdayOriginally posted by Chris View PostJust seen they play their second leg tomorrow and not Thursday because St Etienne and Lyon can't play at home on the same day apparently. A very convenient extra days rest ahead of the Cup Final.
Should we all alert the French authorities to this apparent huge security risk as they've deemed it perfectly fine that St Etienne and Lyon play home games this coming Sunday.

Atletico Madrid have told Manchester United that they want their number one transfer target, Antoine Griezmann, to remain at the Spanish club for one more season – but, crucially, they are also lining up signing one of his friends as his possible replacement.
Despite Atletico’s protestations there is a growing expectation that Griezmann will leave at the end of this season with United almost certainly his destination. United are prepared to trigger the 100million euro (£85million) release clause in his contract, which would leave Atletico powerless to stop them, but still hope to sign the 25-year-old striker for slightly less once negotiations are underway.
Atletico have been alerted to the availability of Alexandre Lacazette, who they tried to sign on January 2016, and who finally has been told he can leave Lyon – and recently went public with that news. Griezmann and Lacazette are close with the Atletico forward having named his countryman as one of the players he would hope the Spanish club would sign.

Manchester United have been drawn against Russian side FC Rostov in the Europa League last 16.
Last season's Russian Premier League runners-up Rostov are the lowest-ranked team left in the Europa League, with Uefa's system rating them as only the 93rd best team on the continent.
They are competing in the last 16 of a major European competition for the first time.
Rostov are seventh in their domestic league at the mid-season winter break, having won two of their previous eight league matches.
A 4-0 first-leg victory against last-32 opponents Sparta Prague set up a comfortable 5-1 aggregate win and booked their first meeting against three-time European champions United.
The full draw
Celta Vigo (Spa) v FC Krasnodar (Rus)
Apoel Nicosia (Cyp) v Anderlecht (Bel)
Schalke (Ger) v Borussia Monchengladbach (Ger)
Lyon (Fra) v Roma (Ita)
FC Rostov (Rus) v Manchester United (Eng)
Olympiakos (Gre) v Besiktas (Tur)
Gent (Bel) v Genk (Bel)
FC Copenhagen (Den) v Ajax (Net)
Spawny Manc cunts again!!! Everytime.
And the other 2 best teams get drawn together. GOing to ****ing win this arent they

Yep. Going to do a cup double having played 1 good team along the way (Man City reserves). Depressing. Still got to beat the **** I suppose, we didn't though we aren't helped out by officials along the way, infact we were robbed v Southampton. They'll probably get helped out v them at Wembley.
The Europa line up is diabolical. It's comically bad, naturally when we were in it we had almost a champions league type draw in every ****ing round!

There are still some good teams in there. We need Utd to get a bit further (but not win) this competition. They overplayed Mikhi in Europa - he's now injured. Get Pogba or Herrera injured too and they are struggggggling. Jose trusts his second XI like we trust ours. Plus Rostov is almost in Asia.
They will end up having to play Roma or similar eventually, just as their PL game are mounting up (they have City, Arse, Spurs, Chelsea, Everton close together) around the cup games. Not to mention the relegation battlers like Sunderland, Swansea, Palace.
For now, come on Southampton - don't let us down!Last edited by BigChief; 24-02-17, 03:58 PM.One tit for another.

Was never going to happen - kids at school etc, etc - USA may happen but I'd say hes more likely than not to be back at Everton next season.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostRooneys agent looking to get him £1m pw in China.

Led to believe, he's said pay me up my contract - which has another £30m to run regardless of any new contract from any other club which may come in.
Fair play, screw the ****ersI make no apologies, this is me

Did hear that he or the club can activate the final year which is madness in itself.
If i were him I would just be the worlds most expensive reserve player for next couple of seasons. I hardly think he has been a model professional so age will take its toll on his body and will end up like one of his Bluenose hearoes soon enough
