That is a pretty shocking net spend on our part tbh. Where is all the money going?
        Oh I don't know.

The £38m win bonus is bollocks - Yes there is a win bonus, but nothing on that scale - A number of contracts scales back in the absence of Champions League barring the last summer signings plus Rooney.

Thing is and one to look out for, Utd going balls deep with MUTV, reducing tons of shared content with providers, cutting off fan podcasts and also mainstream media. Looks like they will license interviews going forward. Agreements left right and centre being terminated or paid up. Don't be surprised to see little or no content beyond Sky/BT/MUTV going forward.
Media co's (print) will **** themselves as where Utd go most follow.............
Overseas rights already sold but Utd agitating to have these sold on a by club basis going forward, Chelsea,Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal in agreement however rest of PL not. Not new news but Utd see this as their big growth area bar none. Web massive for them but Asia the key (as is with all PL).
USA losing interest in PL as people buts £££££and still a smaller growth area - Advertising in both Asia and US massively up for all PL hence individual rights.

According to this in we spent £12m on agents fees:

We also have a pretty large debt still.

Although recent revelations about the Pogba deal would seem to put some doubt on the figures.

So £12.5m net spend including agent fees. We know how to splash the cash.

People rightly despise the Galzers for being parasites, but FSG don't help themselves sometimes.
                Oh I don't know.

My guess would be the agents fees are not counted in the figures (as they are Mirror guestimates).

Also, the impression has been that Klopp has had control of transfers and decided the players we could get wouldn't be worth the investment. We will finish above United after all and they splashed a vast amount of cash.

We played 63 games last season. By the end of this season, including the Europa League Final, Utd will also have played 63 games. Regardless of how much you spend, the Europa League is a fooking leg iron. I hope they end up in the competition next season too. Mourinho will **** a brick.

I have been saying for years, the FSG plan is about balancing the books, not winning trophies.

If we had reinvested the money into the team, we could have handled the injuries better and maybe be sitting higher than we are.

We missed a trick in Jan.

I kind of agree with him, the dropping from CL failure to the europa league devalues the europa league, but then so does the winner getting CL qualification and teams qualifying by coming 5 and 6th in the league. We don't need a CL b competition, make it a respectable competition in its own right or bin it. Maybe replace it with a version of the cup winner cup.

I remember the amount of abuse Rafa got when he played a weakened team before the europa final.
