Don't really get that signing at all, aside from the fact he's not very good it's hardly like their problem is defensive protection is it?! Great deal for Chelsea for a player that would be a sub next season at best.Comment

That's a great deal for Chelsea, they'll replace him with Bakayoko for less and will have a more dynamic midfield and some spare coins.

Matic looked the part when he first signed but when put beside Kante ... he has looked pedestrian but Mourinho does like his big, physical players. The money that clubs are asking for players in this window is just bat**** crazy.

Depends on how you look at it. They are defo getting an upgrade on Fellaini, and Mourinho loves a physical player in his position. So it could make sense for them, and he is still a good player - even if not quite at the Kante level (not many are atm.!)
Still a ridiculous price, but that seems to be how things are atm.Comment
