They are absolutely woeful. One of the most flattering league positions ever, they are no better than Arsenal and I don't say that just because of the style of play, they are ****e.

If Chelsea don't beat them in the fa cup it will be a travesty. And I really don't want Chelsea to win it either. Utd and Jose can't jam another trophy ffs: For football's Sakes.

I keep hearing from scum supporters we are better than Liverpool because the league doesn't lie blah blah. There's no feckin way they are in a better place than us when taking a holistic view. We have a plan to move forward and they dont. We have a pattern of play and they don't. They just want to continuously look to throw money at it until they fluke their way back to the top.
I just remind them that we were brave and it has got to the CL final when they got knocked out at home by being afraid to have a go. ******s.

Jose Mourinho's assistant Rui Faria to leave Manchester United

Jose Mourinho's assistant manager Rui Faria will leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

Mourinho says Faria, who he has worked with for over 17 years, is now ready to manage a club himself.

"17 years and the kid is now a man," Mourinho told United's official website. "17 years in Leiria, Porto, London, Milan, Madrid, London again and Manchester.

"Training, playing, travelling, studying, laughing and also a few tears of happiness. The intelligent student is now a football expert, ready for a successful career as a manager."

Faria has worked alongside Mourinho at Old Trafford since 2016, having also been on his coaching staff during both of his two spells at Chelsea, as well as at Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

The Portuguese has been mentioned in some reports as a possible contender to succeed Arsene Wenger as Arsenal manager.

Faria said: "After a lot of consideration, and with a very heavy heart, I have decided the time is right for me to move on.

"I have had 17 years of incredible and unforgettable experiences.

"However, I have felt for some time that I would like to spend much more quality time with my family before pursuing any new challenge in my professional life.

"My heartfelt thanks go to the manager, Jose Mourinho, for the belief he had in me, all those years ago, when it all was just a student dream.

"I would like to thank him for the opportunity and confidence, for the knowledge and experience, but most importantly for his friendship.

"I would also like to thank Manchester United and all the clubs where I have had the privilege of working during this period.

"I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff and players who, in different ways, have made an important contribution to my growth as a person and as a professional.

"I wish you all the best for the future, knowing that you will always be my close friends."

United have a chance to send Faria out on a high when they face Chelsea in the FA Cup final next Saturday.

Going to be interesting to see how Mourinho copes without Faria next season, mentioned he’s not going to directly replace him but bring in a few assistants and specialists for each area.

Could work if he he brings the right people in and he can take other opinions on board or the old too many cooks adage could come into play.

                            Hopefully the latter
