Yeah, he epitomises the hype around England - didnt make any mistakes against Panama, Tunisia, Columbia and Sweden and scored a couple of headers.

But I don't really recall anyone talking about him as a £70m defender in May.

He will make VVD look like a bargain if they spend that much on him.

They are super compact as well, especially against better teams. That said, i'm hoping De Gea keeps his WC form up over the season.

IMO he's a decent defender and he'll improve most teams above. £60m in the market is a steal. In teh current market you aren't going to find many centre half's that can block, head, score and move the ball out for less than £30m.
