I reckon they'll go for the Dortmund manager.

He wont go. They need someone steady. Coleman, Curbishly. Someone like that.

              Hodgson will steady the ship.

Yeah a Hodgson would be good.

My guess is that ol Bacon Face gets back in the hotseat for a couple of months at the end of the season. Would be hilarious.

My manc colleague gave me a list of four candidates this morning.. Poch, Zidane, Eddie Howe and Marco Silva. Preference was Eddie Howe.

Eddie Howe seems like and nice chap, and decent manager. You wonder if he has found his level though? The job of rebuilding Man U from top to bottom will be beyond him.

Utd are so broken right now there seems no obvious fix.

It took us two managers to rebuild from Hodgson, and that's about where they find themselves now.

                      Modifying post.

That wouldn't concern me. Howe has never had to cope with the pressure of a big club and what comes with that. More fixtures, egos, etc.

Pochettino would be the best choice they could make IMO. So i hope they don't.

Do you think Pochettino would take it if offered? It's a step up in terms of size of the club, and wages, but for everything else it's a downgrade.

It's a pretty dire list in all honesty, which is what leaves them in this messy situation of having a manger no one really wants anymore.

                            Long may it continue
