He's never going to be TAA but i think he's solid enough defensively and he's no experience at a big club and that could show.
United would expect to dominate the ball in most games whereas at Palace they typically defend. He is an excellent defensive full back but let’s see him on the ball.

One season in the EPL and £50m seems v steep and makes him the second most expensive full back of all time. United seem to be going down the buying British route, similar to what we did under Kenny and Comolli

I still think Crystal Palace could have got a better price for him really, bit disappointing on that front as defensively at least was very good last season and a real prospect.

Nowhere near as good as Trent or Gomez though so there is that.

Wan Bissaka was a winger his whole career until he broke into the first team squad 2 years ago. All this talk of him being crap offensively and an expert defender is either based on someone googling his stats or someone making that point and others latching onto it.

In his breakthrough season he looked excellent going forward IMO. Last year, despite his poor returns I'd say he was a bit similar to Valencia.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think it's obvious from watching him he's not good with the ball and good defensively, especially in 1 v 1s on the floor. Where he played as a child doesn't really come in to it, plenty of wingers are **** with the ball as well anyway.

If he does join United, I think he'll be seen as a decent attacking fb with better players around him, but will be caught out more often not playing backs to the wall, defensive football.

He just turned 21 last year.

Decent enough but not quite TAA standards.

Looks decent both offensively & defensively in that tbh.

Good signing for them all things considered, I'm sure united fans are happy with this.

Frankly, he looks like he could develop into a good player (no **** considering the price), and there's more than a decent chance that his offensive output will increase with better players around him.

They need more than him though.

Shaw on the left and WB on the right are two players Klopp would love to coach if they were our players. Shame Golem has no ****ing clue what to do with them lol

Inter Milan are preparing a deal for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku which involves taking the 26-year-old Belgium international on loan for two years at a cost of £9m and an obligation to buy him at the end of that period for £53.8m. (Guardian)

Pure bollocks. Cant see anyone having the stupidity to commit to paying 53m for what will be an aging 28 year old donkey.
