Loving that BBC Sport has had 'A quagmire of mediocrity' article on their sport homepage for way longer than it deserves

Yeah I've done it too years ago. I'd rather just watch it on the TV to be honest.

Been almost 20 years since I last went there and there was bottles and bricks raining down on us as we entered the away end.

Mounted police did nothing except herd us together which made us easier targets

Vowed I wouldnt go back there
I haven't been there for about 5 years, and it wasn't as bad as you describe, but still very hostile, absolute dogs abuse from the 'family stand' to our left, and have to run the gauntlet of the welcoming committee waiting for us when they let us out. It's horrible. I have a 100% loss record there also.

Been twice before in the away end it was torture, a horrible experience being surrounded by such ****s especially if we're gonna smash them...

            ’A quagmire of mediocrity'

This was a real quote, from a United staff member, to sum up what they thought of the current situation.

Solskjaer, it was stressed, was not to blame for this. It was just what the speaker felt was an honest assessment of the club's squad at the present time.
            It’s a good read...

Deffo Everton, partly because I reckon they would be stuck there for years.

Both would be stuck for years. Nobody would join the mancs to play Championship football. Their current players could not cope with the physicality of the Championship

Haha. They wouldn't have to compete with us, they'd just need to get promoted. I think the Mancs would be able to attract players more than capable of that. FFS Villa and Newcastle managed it, I think they'd be alright.

You are probably correct, but I prefer my version

Fat Sam is lining himself up for the job lol so their wishes might come true.

Fat Sam would be a great appointment for Man Utd.

I hadn't thought of that Maybe that's exactly how he's positioning things.
