United have definitely benefited massively from Covid. Since the return, there are a few teams with little to play for, so no motivation and most of those teams that do, aren't used to playing every couple of days and are forced to rotate. United have been fortunate to pick their best team every week with no injuries, so you would expect them to beat Villa, Brighton, Bournemouth and Norwich FFS. Sheffield United was a decent result on paper, but that was without 2 of their starting CB's and they had just been tanked 3-0 by Newcastle. Only decent team they played was Spurs and they couldn't beat them.
I'll not even mention the refereeing favours.
This run reminds me of the record United had which earned Ole a full time contract. Beat a few **** teams and get a lucky win against PSG, surprise, surprise another dodgy penalty and suddenly they are 'back'.
Since March 10, Manchester United have dropped 57 points. Liverpool have dropped 2.
