Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
What struck me from that is how slow he is releasing the ball, moving, or even looking around. He appears so sluggish, like he's had a buffet minutes before playing.
The great thing about Utd right now is definitely OGS, he began to remodel himself as a credible manager when they had their decent run of results post lockdown. However he had as little idea of what he was doing right then as he will have of what is going wrong now.

Pogba will never fulfill his potential. For me he's the archetype example of the players out there who have everything physically and technically but who are let down by their decision making. E.g the extra touch here, the unecessarily risky backheel there too often
From a purely objective perspective that's tragic as better decision making can be learned whereas elements of his technique and his physical attributes can't be.
From a LFC fans perspective though it's hilarious.

Yes, but I'm not putting it down to that. He just looks like he couldn't be arsed. No urgency in his play. He needs to move somewhere who'll make him a king, so he'll work harder to achieve it. His motivation is his name in big shining lights.
It's interesting because even though it's levelled at him a loy, I don't think laziness or motivation is his biggest problem. I don't think he's an intelligent footballer.
He's capable of creative genius, moments that look great but he plays entirely off of his intuition in a lot of moments with limited success. This is why I think, it doesn't matter where Paul pogba goes to play, he will not realise his potential.
Same with Alli.

They were both really good at one stage though. When they were a lot younger. Before either of them were coached by Mourinho
Perhaps they both need to be played as genuine free roles. Because they aren't tactically intelligent enough
