It's a throw your money at the wall signing.Originally posted by Fredo View PostCavani looks a shrewd signing for them. That was some goal.
They'll always be able to afford that kind of ace to dig them out of a hole, shrewd or otherwise.
I've seen nothing of their strategy to hint at shrewdness.
Saying that, I've not seen a strategy, tbh.Oh I don't know.

Thats true, but I think its daft to right them off. I recall us scoring the most points in calendar years (during specific periods) before we finally won it, and I saw the fact as being a very good indicator of our progress.Originally posted by Roboklopp View PostPlay for inevitable pens.
They appear to be playing the long game now and they'll add one or two quality additions no doubt. The real concern for me is Pogba, when he inevitability moves on, they'll look to replace him with another massive signing, only next time, it may be someone with a bit more intent and desire.
They'll need to do something special though to overcome Klopp, but they're definitely moving in the right direction now unfortunately.Glass half empty club

My United fan mates never stop telling me they "don't spend any money", that the owners have reduced investment and they can't compete financially with Liverpool. Absolute cloud cuckoo land.Originally posted by dom9 View PostIt's a throw your money at the wall signing.

The lack of self awareness from their fans is hilarious. Chelsea & City ruined the premier league by spending a United fan said to me last week, hang on a secOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostMy United fan mates never stop telling me they "don't spend any money", that the owners have reduced investment and they can't compete financially with Liverpool. Handy timing now that they have 2 Cup games in their next 3 games. ****in bull****
That’s some joke- the thing happened about 2 months ago... they couldn’t have waited for a more convenient time..
The FA backed themselves into a corner with that minimum 3 match ban bollox, and then said right let’s pick the time which will cause the least amount of fuss...
What are the odds he’ll score at anfield now- we’ll rested and all... just hope it’s only a consolation goal!I don't tip
