Rubbish, Mount works his socks off every game, he'll do some heavy lifting too. Bruno is the one that'll do some heavy falling to the pitch.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostGood player but again overpriced and a Casimero, Bruno F and Mount midfield requires Casimero to do a lot of heavy liftingWas muß, das muß.

Rubbish……. that’s a bit harsh, Mount does work a bit but the balance is off IMO. Two v attacking 8s and an ageing Casimero - I think in bigger games they’ll get overrun in midfieldOriginally posted by Fosterbloke View PostRubbish, Mount works his socks off every game, he'll do some heavy lifting too. Happy he’s gone there. He has one of the most slappable heads ever. I would have seriously struggled if he had joined usOriginally posted by Slinky Skills View Post

Howard Webb and his cronies will see to it that they are fine.
I think Mount would have been a good player for us tbh in the RCM position. I hope we end up with a better signing like Szovolwhateverhescalled but Mount would have got in our team over Henderson, Jones, Elliot etc.
MacAllister at 35m is obviously better value than mount at 60m but as a fan that's only worth something if the money saved enables the club to spend the saved cash on other high quality additions.
For united, i think he possibly replaces Eriksen?? But not they are left with an expensive Eriksen sitting on the bench. And Casemiro will be that guy in 6 to 12 months. And Varane. They sign players that they are going to get maybe 1.5 to 2 good years out of on 4 or 5 year contracts and it ****s them up. Just like Matic, Mata and a few others in recent years.
They've not done that with Mount.

Not sure why people are so obsessed that he only had 1 year left in his contract. Has absolutely no relevance on his ability and IMO £60m is decent value for a good player still to hit his prime. I remember being shocked at how much we paid for Ox in the same situation, but this to me feels like far less of a gamble and hate to say, will probably be a very good signing for them.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He is a good keeper for a few years now. The season where he made a number of errors was the one where he had just joined Ajax and was only 20 years of age and the image of him being error prone stuck.
He is also a keeper that tries to be very proactive in coming to claim the ball be it with his hands or feet. Really good at times with the ball at his feet and gives his back line an outlet to pass to on a regular basis. Every now and then he might make an error with the ball at his feet, similar to how often our own Alisson does the same, but he gets it right far more often than most keepers.
Would see him as a big upgrade on De Gea as he is as good a shot stopper as De Gea was a few seasons back but far far better as a sweeper keeper.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
