That was something of a reconciliation. They’d been estranged for a good 10 years prior to that.

Bobby Charlton was estranged from his whole family i think.. Something about his wife being a bit of a cunt.. Apparently when their dad was dying, he told them that if Bobby sent flowers they were to throw them in the fire. Jack then was publicly critical of bobby for not visiting their mother when she was dying. He blamed Bobbys wife. Bobby then saw his arse and that was the end of their relationship.

The sports personality thing was an attempt to get them back on talking terms but I think they didn't really to be honest.

Theyve lost against spurs, Arsenal, Brighton, Palace in the league. 4.losses from 9 games. Theyve not played well in any game and between now and Christmas they have City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, West Ham (a), Villa..... As well as tricky aways like Everton, Fulham, Forest
