He looked a really great prospect for a few years, but now he should be at his peak his level seems to have dropped off. Not sure if that is the managers or the way he is used or what but the last couple of years he has lost his way and got a fair bit if stick from their fans.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He took an advance of about a weeks pay for him. It’s legal, he has to pay it back and will have paid corporation tax on that money as well as VAT. He is hardly gaming the system there.

Have they made his charitable and trust contributions public?

A directors loan is money paid to a company from a director as a loan to the company. Is that really what they mean?

A director’s loan account can work as a credit or debit account. Some accountants use it as a flexible accounting pot for dividends until they finalise them for the year at which point they would normally reduce and balance to a minimum.

If he had previously funded the company from his own pocket (tax paid) then he is free to take that sum tax free when he wants.

on the highlighted bit as it is the same over here in Ireland

Yep and the amount of Corporation tax etc , as you alluded to in your other post, paid by MUSC are stated in the publicly available figures for the company.

Is just an example of a couple of figures being cherry picked to try and smear Rashford's name whilst ignoring everything else.

Rashford's wages fund the company, his wages pay back any loans he takes out, and MUSC pays VAT, corporation tax etc.

Nothing illegal, nothing hypocritical and nothing underhanded being done by Marcus Rashford/MUSC.

                  That's my understanding too.

He would probably do well to leave them and play overseas somewhere and get away from it all. Less pressure as the hometown hero could be good for him.

Probably only PSG could pay him that money, but Utd would want a sizeable fee - unless he goes for knock down one, he's set for life and Utd have a dilemma on their hands

Whats MUSC, and how does it generate revenue? Not sure why he would need to borrow money if that is the case. As long as the loans are repaid. In sure its all above boatd legally. Tax avoidance isnt illegal though. [emoji16]

Is it fair to assume the worst becuase of the club he plays for?

Id rather see the accounts for City players

I guess he did it to maximize his tax liability. For the kids.

Good to see that he's being kept on as even better for us as he has somewhat leered at Slot's achievements at Feyenoord so would like to see Slot do one better than him here at Liverpool.
