It's presented by a Newcastle friendly source but it's United so could be equal mix of misrepresentation to get the rage up or the league bending over to protect a golden goose
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
I think this stinks, an extraordinary situation leads to the PL bailing them out.
Everton were in a situation not of their making with the invasion of Ukraine - that massively impacted their sponsorship and funding, but instead of support, the PL punish them twice in a season.
Did the PL put the distribution of funds to a vote? If they did, 13 clubs are mugs, if not why not?

Everton were cooking the books. They got let off with far more than they should have and still failed. They claimed they lost more matchday income through Covid than Arsenal who are notoriously more expensive and get 20k more fans per home game and have the loss of European fixtures too.

Has anyone seen a list of all the COVID payments for the league? Were Man U that much of an outlier or were they just a little more savvy about what to claim for?
