Sounds good - steady hand, proven track record of mediocrity etc

What's lovely is that ETH's Ajax were good but they weren't exceptional. Trying to literally buy all the same players again

Ha, seen a thing online that said how ironic it is, that the only ex-Ajax player that looked good on Sunday was Gravenberch

It's embarrassing. He's that middle aged loser who never moved on from his high school days and turns up for every high school reunion.

It must be soul destroying being a scout at United. You find some massive talent and instead he ends up signing one of his old mates instead.

Love seeing that even under new ownership, with everything revamped from top to bottom, that they are still an absolute shambles.

such a shame there is some decent structure behind him now., Apparently he didn't want Ugarte but wanted to sigh Amraabat.

I swear he just goes after all the set names. His scouting ability is 2.

a sound base to start with, but they still spent £200m+ with new guys in charge - Ashworth, not convinced, the ex City guy had oodles of cash to work with so lets see. Dark horse is Wilcox IMO - can he bring the same DOF that he did at Southampton ?

He has been there for 8+ months already. They are no fitter or harder working. How long does cycling sports science take to impact a football team??

Just saw a stat on X about Ugarte, apparently he was the most dribbled past player in the UCL last season.

                                [ame]https://twitter.com/WhoScored/status/1831627079550693571[/ame]

Maybe there is a reason why PSG wanted to upgrade and no other big team was around for him?
