Ut will have to subsidise at most of that wage, Whoever takes him on loan won't want to pay more than £80k pwk

        From Swiss Ramble

Putting all those assumptions together, I reckon that United complied with PSR in 2023/24 by the skin of their teeth, as their £103m adjusted loss ended up being only £2m within the target.

So they need to sell before they buy, home grown gives them more leeway - I can see Rashford going on loan in January but on those wages they are not get £40m or more
I make no apologies, this is me

Jim's gonna kill a couple of tea ladies and outsource the grass cutting. That'll lower the wage bill a few grand a month surely

Applying traditional industrial cost saving methods to a football club seems doomed to failure. Jim seems content to ignore the multiple elephants in the room (Squad depth, quality, wages, contracts & a crumbing out of date stadium) and is instead making cuts that will have zero impact on the value of his asset or its profitability.

It's going to be a ****ing disaster
We are here for a good time not a long time....

Oh for sure but a loan isn’t going to help them financially when they are paying ~ 75% of his wage.

Amorim telling the press conference that this is the worst manure team ever

Got to love his desire to pound these ****ers
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Gutting that they beat Southampton in the last ten as they'd be in the relegation conversation, at least in the media. Sadly there are easily three worse clubs than them.

was pmsl at his comments, definitely tactical to say such a thing publicly. It takes the focus off him and more on the players.... many of whom i'm sure he wants rid of anyways. Clever

Sounds like Woy - defeatist, they’ve been relegated in their past and have spent an absolute fortune…. bull**** from Amorim

It’s a bizarre tactic. Trying to shock the players??? Wonder if he regrets the move already. He was onto a good thing with Sporting and they’ve fallen apart since he left also.

Weird that they can raise themselves for the big games v Us and City. But they look very vulnerable against pretty much everyone else.
