Mourinho was one of the first to point out that the organisation was ****ed. He was probably more right than even he knew.

That's a good point, Moyes did that and I don't think we give him enough creditOriginally posted by spud_gun View PostI'm not sure he wants out. Imagine being the manager who turned Man U around? They'd be lauded the same way we laid Klopp
It might be the case that he's simply not that good a manager.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

This is great readingOriginally posted by spud_gun View PostApparently it cost them 14.5m to sack Dan Ashworth, Ten Hag and his backrooms staff.
How could the Glaziers do that to the club?
No wonder Jim's being upping the price of disabled tickets and slashing charity contributions.
Revenues down 12%, from £225.8m to £198.7m
Broadcast revenue down 42%, from £106.4m to £61.6m
Operating profit down 88.7%, from £27.5m to £3.1m
Commercial revenue up 18.5%, from £71.8m to £85.1m
£14.5m spent on sacking of Erik ten Hag and his coaching staff, including £4.1m on hiring then firing of former director Dan Ashworth
Club debt up from £506.6m to £515.7m
They owe £414m on transfer fees to other clubs
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Brilliant reading. But eye opening that, as historically **** as they are, they are still earning 800m quid per year
You have to think at some point they will get it right, as there’s too much money invested to keep ****ing it up
Hopefully the Glazers stay in control for ever and keep leeching off them and making it impossible for any manager to turn them around - unlikely I think in the long term, though

The Ashworth thing for me blew this up, Dave and Jim not liking the response from Ashworth on using experienced data operators to review - Instead they went off piste with RA - It was a case of him being a shiny toy that they could get quickly. they lost the pragmatic ways of Ashworth and went with an egotistical decision.Originally posted by Doc_Piptorious View PostAnd that is the crux of it for me.
Think Klopp for a minute. Put him in charge of the exact same squad of players that Amorim got.
Do you for a minute think that there would not be some sort of defined way of playing showing by now? One that was designed around getting the best out of the players that are there for now.
Some of the defensive basics being brought into play and maybe signs of attacking patterns being built on the defensive side of things.
Hell don't even look at a manager of Klopp's level.
Drop any manager with a track record of working with a weaker squad (weaker compared to the best teams) and drop a Thomas Frank or an Unai Emery in there and I would bet that a more pragmatic approach would have been taken for the rest of the season, players evaluated as a set up designed to get to the summer was put in place.
Amorim is starting to stink of a guy who needs his players to be better than the majority of those in the league for his set ups to work. He is also starting to stink of being a guy who works harder at passing the buck than he does at leading a team.
Is looking like we dodged a massive bullet in him (if our reported interest really was concrete to begin with).
His seeming lack of pragmatism, leadership qualities and tactical nous look a million miles away from what now looks like the comfort blanket of being in charge of one of the top teams in what is basically a three team league
The fact he can't get a tune out of his players after four months must be worrying, regardless of what set up you have and you have just shipped out your local talent having made a **** of him - For me that's ****ing poor.
The outbursts are childish also, but at the moment he's getting away with it but that dressing room must ****ing hate him.
At the mo Utd will fail PSR unless they sell someone before 30/06 - I.e Rashford, buy there won't be any quick fix given they would have to remove a lot of 1st teamers off the books this summer and I do think that will include Garnashu and Mainu - On the spending front I think they will be ****ed for another 12 monthsI make no apologies, this is me

A bit low that. But regardless it's less than the simple decision of extending Hag's contract and then sacking him. Circa £14m.Originally posted by ChesterDave View Posthttps://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football...s/cx28ve6ynydo
200 more redundancies. What's the UK average? £35k?
£7m a year saved by getting rid of 200 employees (in reality probably less as most will be office staff not technical). Good news, they can now afford 10 months of Luke Shaw.
Seems like Radcliffe is worse than the last lot. The atmosphere around the club must be toxic, nevermind the first team.
