One up top and two 10s behind - it would seem that Cunha and Mbuemo are two 10s but now Fernandes has said he isn’t going to Saudi that he’d occupy one of those roles are perhaps Cunha up top. Amad and Dorgu as the wing backs.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostIs Amorims favoured 343 system set up for Cunha to be left hand forward and Mbembo to be on the right?? Or do I have either or both of them wrong??? It looks like they want to get business done asap so that Ruben Amorim has a full pre season with his team.
I thought Amad was half decent for them???
It will be interesting to see what happens with regards to player sales. If rumours are correct, then Garnacho and Mainoo will make way to help them comply with PSR asich as anything else. Can see both "doing a McTominey" and being brilliant elsewhere. Stevie Wonder can see that they will be lumbered with rashford and Sancho until transfer deadline day though.....at which point United will have to heavily supplement their wages to get them off the payroll for a season. Saudi is the only other scenario I can see there
They should sell Bruno as well if the rumoured 100m was on offer.
They still need a controlling midfielder, a GK and CB

I have seen this and things similar to it floating around, does anyone know if it is even close to accurate?

The reason why Chelsea wages are ‘low’ is because of the length of contract. Lots of those players signed 7,8 or 9 year contracts. So weekly it looks low but it’s big over the duration of the contract.
Just another work around they’ve done.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Financially though, can they just squeeze the **** out of it even more?? E.g. they went to Mayalsia and Hong Kong just after the season ended......could big Jim just get them to do loads of this kind of stuff?? Even during the season when the rest of us are playing European footy?? If the ****e players stick around then that might be one way to make some back on them......send Rashford, Sancho and a few other stragglers along with the kids to Qatar on a midweek...... They have enough global reach for now to do some of this.
To be competing though, it is surely a long road. I think their fans would almost appreciate honesty at this stage and if they had a genuine plan to use their academy and supplement that with good young players, then it might be something that the fans would get behind. Maybe. Cunha and or Mbembo would have been decent signings for us imo. For our squad.
The way some United fans have been talking on Twitter (I know) it is like a celebration that Mbembo supposedly turned down Newcastle and Arsenal to join them. Or it could have been Cunha they were talking about. Either way, there is no way a fella from Brazil or Cameroon does that for sporting reasons. If that happened at all.
They will both make them a better team......but they have a really long way to go

Contract value is still amortized over 5 years, Chelsea thought they were being clever with the 8 year contracts but they changed the rules to close this loopholeOriginally posted by Rich View PostThe reason why Chelsea wages are ‘low’ is because of the length of contract.
