3 of those wins came against sides who were relegatedOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He's averaging a point a game over 30 games, unfortunately that (38 points)would likely be enough to keep them up (and probably relatively comfortably)The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yep. He is keeping them in the division with the odd good result every month or so to give them something to cheer about. Most bottom half teams would love that sort of consistency season in season out.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

It will depend on the contract, but there are cases where the sacking club is liable for the salary up to the point he finds new employment, and some cases where he would continue to receive a top-up from the sacking club if his new role pays less.Originally posted by Scratch View PostIf a manager is sacked, does he get a negotiated pay-off, or does he receive his full pay for the contract as a settlement? (ie could Amorim be happy to stick to his method, knowing that if he gets sacked he will be in the money and will walk into a job back in Portugal?)We are here for a good time not a long time....

Sir Big Jim is a genius so everything will be fine. Maybe he'll ask the government to pay up Amorim's contract.Originally posted by Cerbie View PostIt will depend on the contract, but there are cases where the sacking club is liable for the salary up to the point he finds new employment, and some cases where he would continue to receive a top-up from the sacking club if his new role pays less.Felching ≠ Gerbilling

I'm surprised the Monaco-dwelling billionaire hadn't already asked for state funding for his stake in the club!
His face at full time yesterday was hilarious - just think he has wasted one of his UK tax-free days on that ****-show!We are here for a good time not a long time....

I wonder will they get rid, I think he's a dead man walking. Nuno is available & Emery who is a quality manager, can't seem to get it going with Villa this season maybe he can be pried away from Villa. Amorim genuinely seems clueless & there's no way that squad are as bad as they have shown.
