But that wasn't due to people thinking he wasn't good enough to manage us, I doubt those who like Pulis would want him as our manager.

I don't mind Pulis to be honest, he doesn't have that much to say that isn't related to Stoke, he's not someone like Warnock who used to constantly come out with crap.

He has done a good job at Stoke, got them up, kept them up in the Premiership and established them and given them an identity, I don't particularly like the brand of football they have played over some of that time, they are difficult to play against so most teams and their fans won't look forward to playing them, but aside from that I don't have a problem with them.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I agree with this. I thought Hodgson was a decent manager although a buffoon & despite giving him credit due to his relative success with Fulham didnt want him anywhere Liverpool, likewise Pulis, who has done a cracking job at Stoke & seems a better person than Woy, id be near suicidal if we appointed him after Kenny!

Seems I'm in the minority then.

I really, really don't like Pulis, nor Stoke.
          Oh I don't know.

The irritating baseball cap doesn't help imo.

You play to your strengths. Blackpool came up, played attacking football and went down because of it (plus other factors).

There was another team who came up from the championship, and went straight back down because they played flowing attacking football.

Fair play to Pulis, he knows how to set his team out, and if people can't beat it (usually us) then you need to have a look at approaching them in a different way.

Don't get me wrong, i personally couldn't watch Stoke week in-week out. But luckily enough I was brought up the correct way

                      I hate stoke.

When it comes down to the basics, the product their provide for my entertainment is simply not what I like.

not a massive fan of Stoke but they're a good functional side who play to their strengths a bit like Wimbledon of the crazy gang era.

Basically I hate us playing them!

Exactly! most clubs will hate playing them, which is why you have to say fair play to them!
I read an article from pulis saying that he doesn't like or want to play the football that he does but that's the only way he can progress the club. He plays to their means, they have improved each year and are set for Valencia in the Europa League! cant argue with their success!
