Bale's ridiculously overrated. A good player can be overrated, and in fact, often is.

He's quality and has proved that. The lad was dismantling teams last season and then got injured. Has been excellent for Spurs this season again and is an absolute nightmare to defend against.

You can have you're opinion that he is over rated that's fair enough, i'm pretty sure that come the summer we'll see a whole host of clubs looking for his services, who certainly don't think he is "ridiculously over rated". Guardiola sent his to look at Bale last month, that's the level he is considered.

What i wouldn't give to have a player like Bale at LFC

They've been superb this season.

Walker looks a super prospect, his defending is getting better and better and his attacking side of the game is outstanding, great delivery too. Ekotto has to be one of the most improved players in the league too.

And Walker's a worse defender than Glen Johnson, who you've ripped to pieces on here. Same goes for Assou Ekotto, who's dire.

even if i had never seen Gareth Bale play, the mere fact that a scout from the best team in the world and one of the best teams of all time, are tracking Bale and scouting him, would be all the information i need to consider him a top player. Although i do value you're opinion over Barca's manager and top scouts

Sure Maicon the best right backs on the planet hasn't been the same since Bale absolutely destroyed him in both games vs Spurs.

Ekkotto is massively improved, saying otherwise is untrue. I like Walker i think he has everything to be a top defender, his defending is coming along aswell, very difficult to beat one v one.

Spurs play a quality football, i am a lover of football and appreciate good brand of football regardless of who the team is.

Haha ever pedantic, chief scout Valentine over watching Bale, well publicised. And i'm sure his notes are pretty positive considered Bale's form.

P.S. When i was talking to Albert Valentine he said he was going to ring Craig_H, apparently he won't make a move on Bale until you get onboard

Spurs are fine this season, They look nailed on for a CL spot. The problem for them is what happens in the summer. Will they be able to keep Adebayor? - If not they'll be looking for a striker, will Friedel be around after this year, he's made a huge difference this season, Gomes could always be relied on to drop them some points in previous seasons.

Bale is overrated, he was last years Phil Jones.

But it doesn't change the fact he is decent, and is exactly the type of player we need. IMO.
