Cahill I think is pretty sound, but like others have said I don't particularly see him as an upgrade for Chelsea. Sound future proofing for them perhaps.
there has been of slagging off of Phil Jones on here, sure he has been hyped up by the press etc but he has been absolutely superb for the mancs, no use in anyone pretending otherwise. Gutted we didn't get him.
Agree that Cahill is a very competent and solid CB, will defiitely be a good addition to a ropey Chelsea backline IMO.

I guess he'll have been brought in to enable them to give van Persie a rest, he won't play many games for them, but if he gets a couple of goals and allows them to keep van Persie fit for the season it'll have been a good deal for them.Originally posted by Lee View PostWhat does everyone think of Henry returning to Arsenal? Aye. Although it is difficult to tell with Adebayor who seems to want a change of scenery every 12 months in order to keep playing at a decent level.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostOr left - I always thought Fabregas and Adebayor looked really nervous when Henry played"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

No brainer.. Experienced.. Dressing room lift etc..
2 months is nothing for them and if Henry is happy with it then great..
I'm sure they'll bring in someone else in Jan..
If they didn't sign Henry that would've been given.
Now I'm not so sure.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Yes, Brendan Rodgers gave Gylfi his chance at Reading, I think Gylfi will fit in very well and he brings very dangerous set pieces as well. He's an midfielder and contributes goals, very good signing for Swansea and Gylfi.Originally posted by Lee View PostIs he the player that they signed from Reading? For £8m or something?* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
