Now I don't generally give a toot, and the contenders don't seem to be worthy, but **** it, I like polls, never done one so **** you!

At first is Messi, whose goal seems to only be in there because it's Messi. In my humblest of.

Second is Neymar, which is a fantastic goal and gets my vote, because he created it pretty much all on his own with some before unseen class skill.

I was going to give it to Rooney, although I hate their guts and his obviously, because it was one of those sublime time-standing-still-moments. However because Neymar created everything himself with some unbelievable footwork (similar to *that* Bergkamp goal) he shades it for me.

On second thoughts, I think Rooney's was a ridiculously good goal, perfect cross, perfect execution, high profile game. But because everyone over here in the press/cunts/******s has been wanking over it, he can't get it. If I weren't biased, I might've given it to him. It's a real close call to be fair.

With regards to the Barca goal, there's this unbelievable footwork prior to the goal by Iniesta, which is classier than the goal itself.

Difficult call, relatively ****e selection by a ****e organisation!

messi's goal was just sheer brilliance and quick thinking. but i've seen better goals this year which leads me on to neymars. what a goal!! to beat half a team almost and then finish it too is superb regardless of the country he plays in. rooneys goal was a good goal but the amount of english journos who cream themselves over it is patheitc - he "shins" the ball into the net. had he contacted with the ball with his foot it would never have went in and for that reason my vote went to neymar.

If you watch it again it wasn't actually a difficult trick or anything, it was something you do instinctively, two touch and away. But it was the speed in which he did it that was impressive. I choose his goal because of how he started the move and made it happen
