I thought it was by accident; goes to put his weight down, thinks he's going to stand on him so he continues his movement around putting his foot down, only to then realise he is standing on him, then hops to get all his weight off and goes to ground.

With Pepe, he looked down and got his bearings on Messi's hands, Ballotelli just falls over, trying to stay on his feet but by not putting on Parker's body.

I can't be arsed to read back, but if that "stamp" is reviewed, is it likely to be before Wednesday? And if it is and they decide to ban him, would the ban come into effect immediately thus ruling him out of our game?

I've watched that "stamp" a few times now, and I really cant see any intent from Balotelli. At no point does he look down so I doubt he would have seen where Parker was - this happened in a split second remember.

I think the first point he noticed Parker was when he felt the pressure on his foot, at which point he takes his weight off and goes to ground.

I think it was clearly intentional - a very unnatural movement not too dissimilar to Karl Henry's backward flick/kick. Obviously there's the first contact which is a definite accident, but the kick out was surely deliberate.
