Whatever about looking ill,he looked homeless when he rocked up at Anfield with that scruffy beard and a bodywarmer on. Like he'd spent the night kipping in a skip out the back of subway.

Denmark national team manager Morten Olsen obviously isn’t a big fan of Jose Mourinho.
The Chelsea boss has come under intense criticism this season for the style of play which has taken his side to the Champions League semi-final and close to the Premier League title.
And Olsen – who has managed the Danish side for 14 years – insists Mourinho is killing the game.
Speaking to FourFourTwo magazine, Olsen said: “In my world Mourinho is a danger for football. If many try to copy his style, then the game will die.
“Imagine if everybody played football like Mourinho. Then it would certainly be boring, and then I wouldn’t watch the matches.
“I would prefer to pick a good film or go for a stroll in the forest.”

He is a brilliant manager, no doubt about it. But I think people do have issues with elevating him to a god level status. Look at the way media hang on to his every word as if he can do no wrong.Originally posted by danperkins View PostI talked up Ronaldo because he is the best player in the world. I talk up Bale because he is a quality player & some people on here have an irrational hatred for him.
As for Mourinho i have said he is not a particularly nice guy, but it's blatantly untrue to say he isn't a brilliant manager. IMO it is people's dislike for the man cloud their judgement.
So really it's not me talking anyone up.. more so recognising that Ronaldo is amazing, Bale is a decent guy and glad to see him do well. I only talk about Mourinho.. because this is the Mourinho thread, it's not like i want his babies
EDIT: Multiple edits, ****ty grammar, spelling mistakes who cares etc
Statistically he may become the most successful manager of all time. But I personally would not rate him in the greatest manager of all time league because look at what he is remembered for. He does not create a legacy ( in the style of Shankly, Busby), his teams are not remembered for a style of football in a postivie manner ( Michel, Sacchi, Barcelona with Cryuff). The only legacy he has left is push all boundaries of gamesmanship to win.

There's one thing thats really winding me up with all this. This subject inevitably crops up now amongst football liking mates, and a few times now after telling them about the lack of goals, the underhand tactics, the period at the start of the game where they were timewasting from the off and had the ball out of play for 4 minutes in the opening 10, some people tell me its clever!
Its not clever at all, its bloody underhand and extremely poor form. Other teams don't play like that because they're not complete cunts, they have better morals. It doesn't take a genius to play like that, its the sort of thing you see on the playground. This period has really highlighted what bitter c*nts a lot of people are but in particular I've found it to be fans of Spurs and Chelsea. The Man Utd fans obviously are, but I don't mind that as we have a long tradition of intense rivalry. The Spurs thing is baffling, whilst Chelsea are quite possibly the most unpleasant people in the land.
I hope Maureen is shipped out pronto, the despicable cretin.SakhoPotatoes

Oh dear.......tiresome is not the word
José Mourinho says Edin Dzeko should have won the footballer of the year award rather than Luis Suárez. The Chelsea manager seemingly could not resist another jibe at the Liverpool striker, in comments that may be seen as revealing his interest in Manchester City's Bosnian striker at the end of a season in which he has frequently criticised his own forwards.
"My player of the year would always be from the champions," Mourinho said. "Manchester City need a point. I would say a City player and I would choose Dzeko. He was the third striker at the beginning of the season and when the team needed him, in crucial moments, he made the difference. He has 16 goals. Sixteen for the third striker is something spectacular. He's not just a goalscorer. He assists, he plays."
And in an apparent veiled reference to Suárez, Mourinho added: "He behaves, he's fair, he doesn't dive, doesn't try to put opponents on the stands with accumulation of cards."Oh triffic......so while you're up the road jollying it up, it's touch your toes time for Rodney
