Thanjk you.

I apologise if I am going against the grain here, but I really love Souness. I forgive him for past mistakes, he clearly loves LFC and I really enjoy watching him as a pundit.

Of course they would but those same people would love him in their team because as a player he was a ****ing winner
Much the same as Suarez he wanted to win at all costs and he would do whatever it took to win, hence his actions on the pitch
He wouldnt have to do half the stuff he did in todays game, he would be able to get on and play and he could do that as well
And then some.
You messed with him or one of his team mates and there would be hell to pay. You decided to just try and play football against him and he would **** your team up with his passing and drive.
As a midfielder he had pretty much everything to his game. Could match the best of his era when it came to pure football and could match the best in his era when it came to the blood and guts side of the game.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Souness was a cunt on the pitch. Great player, but a cunt.
If a player acted like he does these days people would be queuing up to lynch him.
Yeah but he played in an era that had no shortage of really physical and rough players. He just happened to be able to match and often better those types whilst still having the ability to match and beat the pure footballers of his era.
He was a fantastic player and possibly the best all round CM I have seen play for Liverpool. If he played in the modern era he would have been like a mix of the best of Roy Keane and Xabi Alonso.

And at the time it was what the game needed. I just find it rather embrassing toi look upon thast loningly wehilst abusuibg playrs liek Costa.
He was a good playwr without that.
Was a very different game though back then. We had plenty of players before Souness who were not shy when it came to sticking a foot or fist in. We even had a few that tried it on with Souness before he joined us.
