I wouldn't mind Conte on a short term deal when Klopp eventually goes.
I reckon we'd have a good season where the Klopp attacking effect is still there and Conte defense in a mad hybrid.
He is a big personality who wont be phased stepping into Klopps shoes and will make the transition easier to Xabi Alonso.

No way, damaged goods. I would never want anyone who has managed that scummy club, nice enough bloke but some crazy decisions in getting rid of players and questionable man management skillsOriginally posted by Liverpool View PostI wouldn't mind Conte on a short term deal when Klopp eventually goes.

if we can just get a season like this first at Chelsea that would be alright in my bookOriginally posted by Tee View PostNo way, damaged goods. his hands on managing games on the side worked then, no idea how much control he has over transfers. More coach than manager at Chelsea.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

Yup. Plus one on liking the nutter Conte.
Maybe the bigger picture is Chelsea played out this drama over £9m. They've not been shy in doing that in the past. Maybe they've just become sick of hemorrhaging money over managers. Also one of the reasons they got rid of Conte is they didn't get want they wanted for Costa.
Must be reigning in the purse strings with the stadium and the spectre of Abromovic's future being uncertain.
