Chelsea: Vitesse Arnhem links investigated by Dutch FA
Chelsea's links with Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem are being investigated by the Dutch Football Federation.

It follows the claim in a newspaper from a former Vitesse owner that Chelsea did not want the side to qualify for the Champions League.

The Dutch FA, known as KNVB, has contacted Vitesse to seek further information and will also look into the ownership of the side.

Chelsea have sent a number of players on loan to the club in recent years.

The Dutch Football Federation has launched an investigation into the ownership structure of Vitesse Arnhem after the former major shareholder alleged Chelsea had exerted undue influence at the Eredivisie club.

I find it strange that for such a "potentially" big and damaging story that it's gone so very quiet on it, very little seems to be being made at all about this.

If and it's a big IF they've influenced another side on how well they perform in matches there should be huge sanctions being faced and I'd say that for any team that was found to be doing this including us.

If it is the premier League that investigate they would most likely try to punish Vitesse for accusing Chelsea of such skulduggery, while praising Chelsea for Loaning so many players to other clubs.
