Ah ok, but I still think we're underachieving in this poor league and I've made my thoughts known, that when you don't have a real captain, there's no focal point for players to be inspired by and hence no winning mentality. Crux of our problems.
Nothing to do with the injuries to our forward line & defence then?
It's all Hendersons fault....
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

A lot of teams have had injuries too. Think manures have been worse than ours. Still underperforming when you look at the cack other teams are fielding.
Also, I never mentioned Henderson, just the fact that leadership has been delegated poorly. Having the right captain is so important in terms of team spirit.
Not saying we haven't underperformed old chap - I just find you blaming it all on 'The Captain' without taking into account change in management, injuries etc a little bizarre......!

To be fair, I couldn't tell you who the Leicester and Spurs captains are
Edit. It's Hugo Lloris and Wes Morgan. Hardly inspiring leaders, made in the mould of a local through-the-ranks hero, worshipped by the fans and blood and guts performers.

Really, it's not that bizarre. Anyone who watched us last season could have foretold the same this season if they took off their red specs. The previous manager was completely blind in fixing the core issues.
If you're going to blame this season on injuries, change in management etc... then we're just going to go round and round in circles. So you would keep things the same for next season?
Having Henderson and Milner as capt and vice was a really bad choice as they don't come across as having the personalities for leadership.
Yes, we've had a lack of strikers and poor defenders but we haven't had the organisation and cunning on the pitch to push us through the tough times. We've let leads slip against inferior sides and that's down to leadership imo.

But still better choices than Milner and Henderson
edit: Anyway, I've said my bit and I think I'm going to take a back seat with footy until next season. I think we've got issues that can't be fixed till the summer so just going to enjoy the good moments and try and dismiss the bad

Chelsea have held talks with the representatives of Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic, who has been recommended by the London club's prospective new manager Antonio Conte, and established the 25-year-old has a £31m buyout clause. (Times - subscription required)
