Can only assume that Cacideo thought a lofted cross was coming his way hence the hands go behind the back. It'll have been something taught in training so as not to give away penalties.
Doesn't really excuse allowing his man to run on a few yards and knock the ground level cross into the goal.Last edited by spud_gun; 10-01-24, 10:47 AM.

He has looked so disinterested when I've seen him play. Not sure if we've dodged a bullet and he's struggling with the step up or he's just not arsed.Originally posted by frank the tank View Postwho would have thought that paying a fella a ****load of money and guaranteeing that for a whole 8 years no matter how he performs would result in an unmotivated player

Guy is a one trick pony who has failed to changed tactically.
Tactically he has gone from being innovative to being a dinosaur in record time.
Most other teams and managers have moved on and keep tweaking their tactics but he is still setting up the exact same way he did when he was at Southampton. Which was fine to do for 12 months a decade ago and it carried him albeit with slowly diminishing returns at Spurs, but then he went to PSG and just regurgitated the same muck again and again, then moves to Chelsea and just tries to set up like it is 2014 regardless of the players he has available to him.
Think that is where he goes wrong. He seems utterly incapable of setting up a team with a system that suits the best qualities of the players within the available squad. Sometimes he gets lucky and a team has a number of hard working players that fit his template and that club also does not come with major aspirations so modest achievements are acceptable.
Drop him into the hotseat of a team where the expectation is a league title in a league like the PL or to take a major step up in the CL like at PSG and he flops.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
