Chelsea have told Conor Gallagher they are selling him and if he wants to stay then sign a new deal that they are offering (on their terms basically). If he doesn’t then he’s pretty much in the PL2. Shocking really.
Didn’t they try and force him out last season as well? Came through their academy, good reliable player and captained them plenty last season.
They seem to have lost a few highly rated players from their academy recently and it’s no surprise when they see Gallagher treated like that. Feels like they’ll just sell you for pure profit to buy the new next big thing for a ridiculous amount. Seems like the type of player they need right now who will put in the work and show some pride.

Gallagher is pretty limited. Good at what he does, but limited beyond that. And what he does isn't what Chelsea want.Originally posted by peterbread View PostChelsea have told Conor Gallagher they are selling him and if he wants to stay then sign a new deal that they are offering (on their terms basically). He's home grown too so selling him banks them a massive profit for the financial rules thing, which they need.
I don't see an issue personally. The fact that there doesn't seem to be a queue of clubs in for the guy speaks volumes about the situation.
It would be funny if they ended up losing him for free at some point.Oh I don't know.

To be fair I thought Gallagher was one of their better players last year, there was also similar messing about with him last year supposedly being on his way because they needed the money, best thing for him is to move on IMO. He's 24 now so needs to be playing regularly and not being messed about like he has been at Chelsea. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
