I agree with you Diego but I reckon the real reason why he's got so much worse over the last 2 years is because they've won feck all compared to ourselves and of course Chelsea. They even struggled to finish in the top 4 last season which is not something Arsene is use to.

Wenger is a great winner but an utterly sh!te loser.

OK, sorry about that, I inferred from your position. If he hasn't failed (and I agree he hasn't) then he must have succeeded, at least to an extent. I don't see how that puts external pressure on him.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

he was about to take Arsenal to a greater level.

          And then Chelsea came along

Arsenal cant compete with that, well not yet.

He succeeded as in winning the league but now his team have fallen well behind the top two just like us. Of course he's under pressure.

I think people are missing the most imprtant point here. I have a ton on them to win the premiership. Here's hoping they turn this rut around in their next game

Wenger is a drama queen, but he gets his teams playing fantastic and entertaining football - so love him or hate him he is good for the game

I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

I agree it's made his job more difficult. I don't see that he's under any more external pressure than any other manager though, including Mourinho and Ferguson. But we're arguing over tiny nuances.

He is a very bad loser. All the French are. That's why they usually just give in

I only said he was under more pressure to catch Utd / Chelsea than Rafa in my opinion

Wenger lost it because he knows deep down the league is all but gone this season. Both Chelsea & Utd are looking very strong & Arsenal, much like LFC, have been found wanting. He lost his rag as he knew it was a game they needed to win, could have won but ultimately ended up losing.

I think people ought to have a little respect for one of the best managers ever to grace the EPL,
brought over virtual unknowns from abroad and made them into superstars that were and are an absolute joy to watch,
also he's put together the best footballing side in the country by a fcuking mile.
                          Brilliant Manager.

Sure he's a sore loser but he's passionate and just wants to win, at least he cares.

I still think Wenger's potentially got the best Arsenal squad of all time.

Wenger will always have the best squad of all time - anywhere. He's so ****ing good it pains me to say it

If he could transfer (pardon the pun) his genius to the European game, he'd rightly be lauded as one of the genius' of the game. I reckon he'll stay at the Arse for at least ten years and get them the CL at least twice.

                              He's a managerial great - no question.

And the confidence he shows in his young players is unbelievable in this day and age.

Looking at their carling cup match tonight, he's left out the ENTIRE first team as we'd know it.

Practically whole team plus subs bench are youngsters, and currently holding everton at 0-0.

So hat's off to the guy no doubt about it.

(Although don't like idea of henry et all having a good rest before we go to the Emirates on Sunday )
