    Poor bloke. So young too.

Apparently the reason he confessed to it is because the chap who interviewed him asked him why he was speaking slowly on his TV show.

    37 FFS.

      Awful news
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

              Rangers are in total meltdown.

2 Managers on gardening leave. Board in fighting and running out of money fast.

I struggle to have any sympathy for them. The problems are 100% of their own making. The mismanagement of the thing has been epic.

Between them and Celtic they must have shared something like 80% of all Scottish football revenue (a guess on my part). And yet they still went bankrupt.
                Oh I don't know.

Yes, they financially doped (trademark Chris) for a football generation and are paying for it now.

Not just that, but they hoovered up any promising Scottish players and never played them, or if someone played well against them, just sign them and stick them in the reserves - they prototyped the Chelsea and Salah model. No sympathy at all.

I am actually watching the SPL this year - and I am probably not the only one hoping that Celtic do not win it.

As for Rangers - getting back into the SPL is far from certain, and I feel that if they fail to do so at the first attempt the wheels will properly come off.

Far from certain is something of an understatement!

                            Very succesfully.

They famously beat Real Madrid in the Cup Winners Cup Final, and more or less won everything whilst he managed them.

FWiW - its anyone but Celtic for me.

The real action is in the Scottish Championship where the only unbeaten team in World Football are handing Rangers a lesson on the pitch, and off. Hearts are an example to any club looking to restructure after the failed ownership of a foreign 'tycoon', costs have been cut, all big salaried players have been moved on (some to Rangers!) and the team has been rebuilt with youth. Danny Wilson proving to be a bit of a club hero too.

Rangers seem to think they are still in the big leagues, and with debts mounting you really wonder if it could be the end. Mike Ashley has offered 10mill loan, but wants the stadium and training ground as collateral. Interesting. I reckon they could go to the wall - and I doubt there will be a way back for them this time.

                              Well dodgy:

Rangers: Newcastle loan players must play if fit - Kenny McDowall

Rangers manager Kenny McDowall claims he has been told by the club that the five loan signings made from Newcastle must be in his starting XI if fit.

Midfielders Gael Bigirimana and Haris Vuckic and defenders Kevin Mbabu, Remie Streete and Shane Ferguson joined from the Premier League side on Monday.

Their parent club are owned by Rangers shareholder Mike Ashley.

McDowall says chief executive Derek Llambias and football board chairman Sandy Easdale told him the news.

Llambias, who was previously chief executive at Newcastle, is one of two Ashley appointments to the Rangers board alongside finance director Barry Leach.

Interim manager McDowall, who took over from Ally McCoist when he was placed on gardening leave on 19 January, recently handed in his notice to resign.

He is now working a 12-month notice period.

"I have handed in my notice and have told the guys I am happy to take the team. So I am not going to complain," McDowall said.

"I will carry out the instructions that they give me and do my best. I have a job to do and I am happy to do it.

"The boys have come up to play and they will play. That's just how it is."

Ashley, who owns 8.92% of the Ibrox outfit, provided them with a £10m loan in January to ensure they stay in business.

While £5m was available as immediate working capital, the influx of cash was also used to repay a £3m loan made by the Newcastle United owner last year.

In return, Ashley got security over the Scottish Championship club's Murray Park training ground, registered trademarks and other properties.

Rangers also gave him, for the duration of the loan, a further 26% of shares in Rangers Retail Limited, 49% of which was already owned by the Sports Direct owner.

The Scottish Football Association has called Rangers and Ashley to March hearings about his dual interests in the clubs, having already blocked his desire to increase his Ibrox shareholding.

Three Newcastle players - Bigirimana, Vuckic and Streete - could make their first appearances when Rangers play Raith Rovers on Sunday.

The Scottish Cup fifth-round match at Ibrox will be shown live on BBC One Scotland.

Ferguson and Mbabu are expected to arrive in Glasgow in the next few weeks after recovering from injuries.

Rangers trail Hearts by 16 points in the race for the Scottish Championship title and the automatic promotion place that comes with it.
                              Oh I don't know.

                                Absolutely ludicrous.

If anything that is guaranteed to further destabilise what is already one of the most volatile football clubs in world football.

Impressive that they are managing to spread the disruption from the boardroom and fanbase through to the management and now finally into the playing squad.
