Est1892 LFC Banner

I was thinking that it would be very cool to make and have our own Est1892 LFC banner.

I have no problem coming up with some concepts, designs etc and we could have posters make suggestions about tweaking and tuning until we all agree on the final "product".

It would be financed from our donations and we would just need few volunteers to do the logistical stuff (find out the pricing, collect the money, order the banner etc) and carry it proudly on the games.

To me it would be very special to see our own banner on TV as some of us don't have many opportunities to watch LFC in person so this way it would almost feel like we are there to support the club we love so dearly..

Any thoughts?

Who would you make a banner for?

i think if we're doing one banner for the whole site it should be a pretty general statement of support that includes everybody. which is not to say it should be bland or conventional. we can try and think of something creative that doesn't necessarily single out a player.

not that i think the barnes designs were bad.

est is a pretty special place really. for what is essentially a sports chat website, we are very cosmopolitan--diverse and multi-generational, we've got americans, canadians, slovenians, bosnians, even people from london. we've got indians, aussies...we've got a lot of spice. we have a lot to be proud of. one of those things is our boys. that might be something to think about when we consider how we want to represent ourselves to the team and other fans.

You seem to be looking this from slightly different angle that me and it would be great to hear some of your thoughts

off the top of my head, this isn't very good, and possibly wide of the mark, but something maybe like "est 1892--proof that the whole world loves lfc".

it's not catchy or creative, but it's along the lines of the message i would favor.

Woah woah woah. Don't forget the est banner curse. Every current player who has featured on a banner has ended up leaving after a spell being utter ****e.
