I'm struggling to think of any player who would be least well suited to management than Anelka to be honest, Balotelli maybe?

Nah, Anelka these days is a fairly quiet, religious and professional player who keeps his head down and stays out of trouble. He's been like that for a few years now. Very different to how he was as a youngster and very different to most of his ex-chelsea teammates. He's nothing like Balotelli

I never meant to make a direct comparison to Balotelli, just that they'd be equally inept for different reasons

He's a world renowned sulky miserable *******, he seems lazy, and always comes across as very quiet. Can't see him being suited to management at all personally

Nicolas Anelka has lost his first match as player-coach of Shanghai Shenhua, the final whistle was greeted with boos. Oh dear.
