      Surely Adebayor was denied a clear goalscoring opportunity, the ref played advantage and Bale scored. Anyway, I'm clearly no expert.

          No, it does not. He should have received a yellow for it after the advantage was played out

            I don't think so, IMO he should have been booked.
            The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

              If the foul on Adebayor is counted (in order to send off Cech) then the game stops as soon as that foul is given. Hence Bale's goal was scored after the game would've been stopped and wouldnt count.
