They have to as it's been made quite clear that the ref has already been taking in by United's reputation. The moment one of the Villa players goes in a little too hard on Young they will be off...Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostI don't know how the villa players keep cool when that happens i would ****ing loose it with him if i was on the pitch.

It's because he plays for Man Utd, any other club and it would be a different story, we know what the reaction would have been if Suarez did that...The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

A player at any other club and you'd be right, but he's English and plays for your cheating mob, so it's a double whammy and he wont ever suffer from a diver's reputation like other players would.Originally posted by Scotsdave View PostNo defending Young, blatantly could have stayed on his feet... Two weeks running; will take a long time for him to shake the divers tag now. Wouldn't be surprised if he starts having decisions I against him a bit more often...

Well to be honest he could also play for City, Spurs, the Arse or the Chavs. We don't want to dare upset what's going on at the top.Originally posted by Exiled_red View Post

The refs in this country help create a kind of seeding in the league.
Newcastle are a one but if they regularly take one of the top 5 positions I guarantee they will start to get more decisions, same for us if we ever make it back there...

To be honest Craig I would say he could get away with it if he played for City, the Arse, Spurs and the Chavs. I agree with you totally that he gets extra for being English...Originally posted by Craig_H View PostA player at any other club and you'd be right, but he's English and plays for your cheating mob, so it's a double whammy and he wont ever suffer from a diver's reputation like other players would.

Robbie Savage, BBC Radio 5 live
Former Manchester United schoolboy and Wales international Robbie Savage at Old Trafford for BBC Radio 5 live: "I have to say, I think again Ashley Young has taken a dive. I said before the game he has to be careful of his theatrics. There was minimal contact, and the way he went down was shocking. He's going to get a reputation. And the referee couldn't wait to put the whistle to his mouth and give the penalty. This is very hard to take if you're Villa."BBC online. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/177207731609:GOAL - Man Utd 1-0 Aston Villa - Wayne Rooney (pen, 7 mins)
Stand by for more controversy over Ashley Young and how he dives to win penalties. He checks inside Ciaran Clark inside the Villa box and dives over the defender's leg. Yes, there is contact, but Young's reaction is theatrical.
I'm amazed referee Mark Halsey gives a penalty, but he does. Wayne Rooney tucks it away and Manchester United lead.
Utd cheating their way to the title, again. If this was Italy there'd be an investigation.Another MASSIVE game
