I was under the impression that Rodgers has said, he will assess everyone and then make his decisions, did i miss something.
His attitude was excellent last season.

        £25m loss on him FFS

While he's obviously not worth the £35m we paid for him he's worth more than £10m!

For what it's worth I'd keep him, maybe not as first choice but he could provide competition for places and could do a good job when called on as he's a good young player and will get better.

Also if we sell him I'm sure he'd become one of those players who would come back and bite us.

All conjecture .. I would realistically value him, considering his age and talent at 22, 26 high end for his potential, he has a good season with us next year, obviously that changes.

I beleive Rodgers will look to make him more mobile, he already showed signs of being able to shift through the gears a lot quicker ... the problem last season was not Andy Carrol, it was the balls not going into him, the runs not close enough to him to take advantage of his knock downs etc ... I am sure Rodgers can work with Andy

I work with Llambias' nephew - I'll see if he can find anything out

I'd be ****ed off if we sold him for £10m to be honest.

I was excited when we signed him. That turned to disappointment and at one point last season I declared that I'd given up on him and just couldn't see it working out. And then suddenly he started turning it around with much improved performances, and even some goals! And now I really like him. Because I'm completely fickle as most football fans are, whether they'll admit it or not.

I can see the thing about him not necessarily fitting into Rodgers planned style of play, and if he thinks that money received for him could be better spent in implementing that system then I'll support that decision. But personally I'd like us to keep him, as a plan b if nothing else.

We've seen with Arsenal over the years (and sometimes even Barca to an extent) that whist playing lovely football is great and all, sometimes you do need a plan b available to you.

I wasn't, but when he came on and won that first header against United on his debut, like many others I cheered as if he had just scored the winner in a CL final.

£15m would be a good price if we can get it.

Has Carroll even come back for training yet after the Euros?

Has Rodgers even seen him on the training pitch? This is all madness he's got to give him a few training sessions at least before he ditches him surely.

I think we need the cash hence these sorts of scenarios.

I agree with Didi's comment that we need players to hit the ground running but he ended the season well. I trust Rodgers wants to replace him with someone who better fits in the system and if he wants rid then that's cool, but surely we should at least wait until January to see if that form continues rather than getting shot now.
